This is a healthy, efficient, and energetic office space. Employees in the hard technology industry often work for extended periods with a focus on high efficiency and comfortable working environments. In this project, we have created an ideal office space for employees through scientific planning and the use of ergonomic office furniture, such as the AiX Ergonomic Chair, which helps alleviate body soreness caused by prolonged sitting.
Customer Profile
The client served by this project is a leading enterprise in the technology industry, founded in 1987. It is a global leader in ICT (Information and Communication Technology) infrastructure and smart terminal providers. The company has 207,000 employees across more than 170 countries and regions, providing services to over 3 billion people worldwide.
With the rapid development of 5G, IoT, AI and other technologies, the smart office that we once aspired to has become a reality. It is not only changing the working habits of individuals, but also helping companies improve their competitiveness.
This is an office space for the hard tech industry that will present us with: what changes will technological means make to the traditional workplace?
As people’s work habits change, the utilization rate of meeting rooms is no longer as high as it used to be.Nowadays, employees tend to prefer holding discussions in open public areas and enjoy a pleasant and relaxed working atmosphere. In order to support spontaneous collaboration among staff members, we have created minimalist and modern open sharing collaborative spaces.
This space combines multi-dimensional functions such as leisure and entertainment, collaboration and communication, and focus on privacy, helping people to better perform their jobs while relaxing their bodies and minds.
Around the individual workstation areas, storage cabinets are utilized as partitions to create double and multi-person communication zones. The Four Resting leisure table is paired with Four Sure Wood chairs featuring V-shaped backrest designs, thereby creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for discussions.
The multi-person communication area is composed of the Chalet collaborative sofa paired with Cube stools and Four Resting leisure tables, and it comes equipped with power supply to facilitate convenient collaboration among people.
In consideration of the numerous private exchanges, focused work, and confidentiality needs for technical information in the hard technology industry, we have incorporated the Four Us leisure sofa into our collaborative spaces.
Unlike traditional sofas, the Four Us sofa possesses a distinctive capability to partition space, creating a secluded and intimate setting for casual interactions where both visual and auditory privacy is enhanced, thereby facilitating group discussions.
Psychological research has found that during a day’s work, people need an appropriate amount of time to relax and restore themselves to their best condition, which can lead to a more positive and energetic work attitude.
In order to better facilitate relaxation for everyone, we have equipped the tea room with a series of leisure-oriented furniture, such as the Chalet Sofa for two people, the Four Resting leisure table, and chairs from the Four Sure series… By combining these with differently sized tabletops, we have created a laid-back and comfortable tea break area.
Traditional meeting rooms are also indispensable. In our conference spaces, we have equipped AiX ergonomic chairs which help employees avoid discomfort caused by prolonged sitting and assist people in maintaining deep focus, thereby enhancing work efficiency.
The importance of office space for enterprises is self-evident. Within the enterprise, from top to bottom, there exists a functional division of labor with different attributes among leaders and employees. Our intention is to create a scientifically designed office environment that provides people with an excellent working experience. Concurrently, it positively guides and influences people’s behaviors and levels of dedication.
In the executive office, we have equipped a modern and minimalist Fabio executive desk. The spacious tabletop of the Fabio, which combines stone and wood, exudes a harmonious, elegant, warm, and unpretentious texture. The silent soft-closing rails and keypad password lock on the Fabio allow people to securely store items without having to carry keys with them.
A sufficiently comfortable personal workstation can lead to enhanced work performance. We have equipped our workstations with Aix staff chairs, addressing long-sitting fatigue with a comfortable chair.
