Project Overview

Lize SOHO, located in a building within the Third Ring Road in southwestern Beijing, houses the headquarters of a well-known domestic leading hard technology enterprise. NOVAH delivered 3,700 AiX office chairs and Lotus seats resembling lotus flowers to this enterprise, providing employees in the hard technology industry who focus on R&D with a healthy chair, a healthy way of working, and a future with more possibilities.

Customer Profile

The client served by this project is a leading enterprise in the technology industry, founded in 1987. It is a global leader in ICT (Information and Communication Technology) infrastructure and smart terminal providers. With 207,000 employees spread across more than 170 countries and regions, it serves over 3 billion people worldwide.

A futuristic office

Once, some media in the United States evaluated Chinese chess players as follows: ‘They work hard like bees.’ Bees are united and diligent. 

When a hive becomes too small to use, the entire colony will move, just like a company.The hive sends out ‘exploration teams’ to understand the outside world. When the hive needs to make major decisions, bees with different views use complex dance movements to ‘vote’. They are an extremely complex organization and also a family.

X-shaped chair back

With the arrival of the era of artificial intelligence and 5G, high-tech enterprises are thriving. The 3,700 AiX office chairs delivered by Novah this time feature a tech-savvy ‘X’ shaped hardcore pillar design, foreshadowing infinite possibilities that are unknown but full of hope.

The unique hexagonal back design of AiX is inspired by Kevin Kelly’s ‘Hive Mind’concept proposed in‘Out of Control,’symbolizing employees working like bees to create collective wisdom through collaboration, thereby generating greater value for the enterprise.

Deep relaxation

AiX's maximum tilt angle can reach 135°, supporting the body to relax muscles to the greatest extent. 

From the fit of the neck, shoulder support, waist support, and the support needed for arms in different working states; to the force needed for back recline when taking a nap; to the placement of legs, AiX’s all-around precise adjustment makes it a productivity tool for long-term focused workers.

Lotus Sofa

Lotus is one of the earliest plants in the world. Legend has it that before the construction of the pyramids, lush lotus flowers grew on both sides of the Nile River. The ancient Egyptians believed that the lotus was a symbol of elegance and sanctity, and also represented power.

‘LOTUS’, inspired by the lotus flower, does not adopt the armrest components of traditional sofas. Instead, the entire seat resembles a complete lotus flower. These Lotus seats are distributed in leisure areas across different spaces, making the office environment more cozy.

To better conform to ergonomics, the cushion design adopts a 3D shape, which can help people relax their shoulders and neck.

Lotus offers two options for backrest height: high-back and low-back. In the reception area, the high-back Lotus can help alleviate visitors’ tension; while in collaborative zones, the graceful low-back Lotus allows employees to feel more relaxed.
