CCGRASS: Collaboration Unfolds in Motion

Artificial Turf Industry Multiple Collaboration Zone

Customer Profile

Jiangsu CoCreation Artificial Turf Co., Ltd. stands as the undisputed global leader in artificial turf sales. Distinguished as the only Asian supplier preferred by three major governing bodies—FIFA, World Rugby, and the FIH (International Hockey Federation)—it also holds the distinction of being the first company in its sector to list on the main stock exchange board.

Project Profile

As the company’s footprint expands and its international markets grow rapidly, operational demands have shifted. Seamless cross-time-zone collaboration, efficient multi-departmental alignment, and real-time synchronization of frontline data are now critical. Yet, a competing necessity remains: employees require prolonged, uninterrupted focus to develop technical solutions, engineer process designs, and meet bespoke client needs. Consequently, the central challenge of this workspace upgrade became finding the equilibrium between "deep work" and "high-frequency collaboration" within an open-plan environment.

To address this complex dynamic, NOVAH approached the project through the lens of organizational behavior, crafting a workplace ecosystem for CoCreation that harmonizes individual focus, team collaboration, and corporate identity.

Brand DNA: Seamlessly Woven into Spatial Details

For a company rooted in high-performance synthetic materials, with products deployed in sports and landscape settings worldwide, "green" signifies more than just the functional benefits of its offerings. It embodies a profound commitment to a sustainable future.

This philosophy is artfully translated into the physical environment. The traditional, enclosed reception desk has been eliminated in favor of an open, inviting waiting zone, flanked by low-maintenance greenery and moss installations. These natural elements serve as a subtle yet powerful resonance of the brand’s ethos, reflecting the vitality, order, and long-term vision that define CCGRASS.

Within the workspace, greenery is strategically woven into the circulation paths and functional zones, acting alternately as visual buffers and rhythmic pauses in the spatial flow. Complemented by a palette of low-saturation hues and an airy, open layout, the environment strikes a balance between composure and vitality. This atmosphere mirrors the essence of CCGrass’s own products: leveraging technology to realize sustainable possibilities, and underpinning global trust with unwavering professionalism.

Adaptive Spaces: Bolstering Organizational Resilience through Hybrid Work

Amidst fluctuating team scales and evolving work patterns, CCGRASS required a spatial framework capable of dual support: enabling permanent staff to engage in deep, focused work while simultaneously accommodating traveling or irregular employees with efficient, ready-to-use workstations.

Within the dedicated work zones, we deployed a combination of Melo ergonomic chairs and Cluster desk systems. This setup carves out distinct personal domains for every employee within the open-plan environment. The strategically calibrated partition heights filter out lateral distractions without severing visual lines of sight, thereby achieving a state of "open focus"—where teams remain visible and connected, yet individuals can securely maintain their flow.

The shared workspace features Campers agile workstations paired with Morph smart lockers. The modular desk clusters of the Campers system are anchored by the Stove integrated power hub, offering the versatility to function as standalone temporary desks or to merge into intimate meeting islands. Meanwhile, the Smart Morph lockers enable secure, scan-to-access storage, ensuring that non-resident staff can safely stow their devices and documents. This "core + flex" hybrid model effectively underpins the organization's long-term resilience.

Agile Collaboration: Weaving Instant Cooperation into the Workflow

At CCGRASS, pivotal decisions and flashes of creativity rarely emerge solely within the confines of formal meeting rooms. Instead, they often spark from impromptu alignments at a desk, brief exchanges by the window, or sudden whiteboard brainstorming sessions initiated with a simple turn.

To support this dynamic, we have strategically embedded multiple lightweight collaboration nodes throughout the workspace—nestled between workstations, along side corridors, and in window-side zones. Compact and reservation-free, these spots are accessible within seconds. The window areas leverage natural light to foster a relaxed ambiance, while the interstices between desks utilize mobile partitions to offer just enough visual privacy without isolation.

Serving as a seamless extension of the daily work environment, these nodes maintain the workflow’s rhythm while continuously facilitating the exchange of ideas. The result is a culture where collaboration is not an interrupted event, but an organic part of everyday life.

The Buffer Zone: Natural Connections Through Relaxation

At CCGRASS, the pace is rapid and cross-departmental interaction is frequent. Yet, amidst this high-intensity workflow, it is equally vital to provide a sanctuary where employees can decompress and engage in unstructured dialogue.

To address this, we have curated an open lounge within the office core. Eschewing rigid walls and fixed functional labels, the space is defined by Bloom sofa groups with soft, organic lines that carve out inviting social nooks. Paired with mobile whiteboards, these corners are perfect for impromptu brainstorming sessions. Nearby, high-top tables bathed in natural light offer an ideal spot for standing breaks and contemplative gazes outward, while semi-enclosed seating areas provide a measured degree of privacy for deep one-on-one conversations or moments of quiet reflection.

Employees are free to adapt the space to their mood, group size, or conversational flow—whether sipping coffee, browsing a book, or striking up a spontaneous chat with a passing colleague. Here, "serendipitous encounters" become a daily ritual. It is within this relaxed, authentic atmosphere that fresh insights and shared consensus quietly take root.

In the CCGRASS headquarters project, NOVAH leveraged the organic synergy of diverse spatial typologies to deliver a pragmatic design strategy tailored for an enterprise rooted in manufacturing, driven by global markets, and powered by technological innovation. The approach eschews mere formalism; instead, it deploys integrated furniture systems that respond directly to authentic collaborative behaviors. The result is an environment where discussions flow without the need for reservations, and the brand’s identity is subtly yet powerfully felt in every detail.
