The client served by this project is a leading enterprise in the technology industry, founded in 1987. It is a global leader in ICT (Information and Communication Technology) infrastructure and smart terminal providers. The company has 207,000 employees across more than 170 countries and regions, providing services to over 3 billion people worldwide.

Dr. Nancy Baym, a principal researcher at Microsoft who has studied social relationships for decades, pointed out in a report that the reduction of team interaction affects two important things: productivity and innovation.

This means that communication among employees is crucial to creating value for the enterprise. Based on the business characteristics of the project’s complex process and cross-departmental cooperation, we have created a diverse and flexible office leisure area for it.

To solve the problem of employees being disturbed by noise and lacking concentration, we have designed the ‘Whisper’ silent room to help people build private spaces and create an efficient and focused working environment.

Whisper is applicable not only to personal private work, but also to dual collaboration tasks. People can choose between ‘single seat’ or ‘double seat’ according to their actual needs, allowing companions to join in the private work as well.

This piece of furniture combines interaction and focus, reducing distractions from the outside world in terms of both hearing and vision, helping employees to complete their daily work efficiently.
