Customer Profile

Vale were founded on June 1, 1942. They pioneered the world as a global mining company, we are present in more than 20 countries. Vale is the world’s largest producer and exporter of iron ore, as well as the largest mining company in the Americas. Its iron ore production accounts for 80% of Brazil’s total output, earning it the titles of ‘the gem on Brazil’s crown’ and ‘the engine of the Amazon region.’

Me and Us

We have considered the needs of employees in all aspects, such as: how to find a quiet and somewhat private space in an open office? Novah has placed single-person semi-enclosed sofas next to workstations, which are equipped with writing boards and coffee tables and other accessories, suitable for one person to work and think here. 

Moreover, this sofa can also serve as a temporary workstation for some employees, especially those who do not frequently work in the office. By doing so, it improves the utilization rate of the office space and meets the needs of more mobile personnel.

The birthplace of inspiration

Vale’s employees are like the engine of this large organization, so Vale attaches great importance to the working environment of its employees and hopes to create an office space that inspires their inspiration and creativity. We chose the combination of writable whiteboards and height-adjustable desks, which form an efficient collaboration system, making every part of the office space conducive to employee innovation.

Does work have to be done in the workstation area? The fact tells us that this is not the case. The dining and rest areas can also become spaces for people to collaborate and work independently, and a more relaxed environment can sometimes make employees more efficient.

The integration of humans and the environment

When we plan an office, the first thing we consider is the connection between people and space. Any furniture must be able to blend perfectly with the space and the people within it.

For example, placing ‘telephone booths’ in the office not only respects the privacy and security of users, but also prevents people around them from being disturbed by noise.
