In today’s rapidly greening global supply chain, corporate social responsibility is no longer a “bonus” but a “ticket to entry.”
Recently, NOVAH successfully passed a comprehensive assessment by EcoVadis, the globally recognized sustainability ratings platform, earning a Bronze rating and placing among the top 35% of all assessed companies worldwide. This achievement not only signifies international recognition of NOVAH’s performance across four key areas—environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement—but also demonstrates our systematic commitment to high-quality, responsible business growth.
EcoVadis is a dynamic scoring system grounded in international standards—such as ISO 26000, GRI, and the UN Global Compact—that quantitatively assesses corporate ESG performance across four core themes: environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. Since its launch in 2008, EcoVadis has been adopted by hundreds of leading global companies—including Nestlé, LVMH, Johnson & Johnson, and BASF—to evaluate their suppliers’ sustainability performance, making it the world’s largest “green race” with over 100,000 participating businesses.
In the office furniture industry, sustainability is increasingly a decisive factor in customer decisions. NOVAH’s Bronze certification not only strongly validates our commitment to sustainability but also serves as a critical credential for multinational corporations seeking suppliers aligned with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). With this EcoVadis Bronze rating, NOVAH helps clients reduce the carbon footprint of their office spaces and achieve their ESG goals.

EcoVadis awards its medals based on a precise percentile ranking system. Starting in 2025, the criteria for medal eligibility have been significantly raised: to earn a Bronze rating, a company must rank within the top 35% of its industry, and score at least 30 points in each of the four core themes—otherwise, it is automatically disqualified from receiving any medal. This change means companies must not only outperform peers overall but also meet minimum thresholds across all key areas, substantially raising the bar for certification.
For NOVAH, this certification represents not just an honor, but a responsibility. Against the backdrop of Chinese manufacturers averaging just 48.2 points (compared to the global average of 54.7), NOVAH’s Bronze certification demonstrates that we significantly outperform domestic peers—laying a solid foundation for expanding into international markets.

EcoVadis assessments emphasize a clear “chain of evidence”—vague statements earn no points; only verifiable actions gain recognition. Behind NOVAH’s Bronze certification lies the tangible implementation of sustainability principles across our operations.
At the product level, NOVAH continues to advance its dual strategy of “green products + modular design,” embedding environmental responsibility throughout the entire product lifecycle. Through modular construction and glue-free manufacturing techniques, our full range of seating and signature lounge products have achieved GREENGUARD Gold certification—ensuring low chemical emissions and delivering healthier, safer indoor environments.
NOVAH has built a green supply chain model centered on “emissions reduction at source + transparency in process.” ESG performance is integrated into procurement criteria, and we prioritize suppliers with strong low-carbon and eco-friendly practices. This value-driven partnership encourages collaboration across the value chain, aligning upstream and downstream partners on environmental standards, energy efficiency, and material innovation to jointly foster a more sustainable ecosystem.
At our manufacturing facility, a 1.8 MW distributed photovoltaic system generates approximately 1.9 million kWh of clean electricity annually, reducing carbon emissions equivalent to about 600 tons of standard coal each year. Through these concrete initiatives, NOVAH is steadily progressing toward its goal of achieving “near-zero emissions” in production.
In today’s globalized business landscape, sustainability has become an unavoidable responsibility for every enterprise. From product design to supply chain management, from employee well-being to social contribution, NOVAH’s sustainability practices span every aspect of our operations. The EcoVadis Bronze certification is just the beginning. Moving forward, NOVAH will continue to deepen its ESG commitments and work hand in hand with all stakeholders to co-create a new chapter in sustainable development.
