NOVAH Factory’s PV System Officially Commissioned

Against the global backdrop of addressing climate change and advancing the green, low-carbon transition, manufacturing—as a major energy-consuming sector—bears significant responsibility and holds immense potential in energy conservation and emissions reduction. According to the "Analysis and Forecast Report on China’s National Power Supply-Demand Situation for Q3 2025," released by the China Electricity Council, manufacturing accounted for 63.2% of total national electricity consumption in the first three quarters of 2025.

In response to this challenge, clean energy—particularly solar photovoltaics—is expanding at an accelerated pace, becoming a key driver of the manufacturing sector’s green transformation.

Embracing this trend, NOVAH has now completed and commissioned a 1.8 MW distributed photovoltaic system to support its factory operations. We are not only adopting clean energy but also striving through concrete actions to collaborate with industry partners in building a low-carbon future.

Efficient Use of Idle Space to Enhance Overall Energy Utilization Efficiency

NOVAH’s factory features extensive rooftop areas. With the installation of a distributed photovoltaic (PV) system, these previously unused spaces have been put to highly efficient use—without consuming additional, valuable land resources. The distributed PV installation is located close to the facility’s main electricity loads, enabling on-site power generation and consumption. This significantly reduces transmission losses typically associated with conventional centralized power supply systems, thereby improving overall energy utilization efficiency.

The system is designed and constructed in a modular fashion, tailored to the roof’s structural conditions and the factory’s electricity demand. It can be implemented in phases, offering strong flexibility without disrupting normal production operations. Particularly during peak electricity demand periods, the system effectively alleviates pressure on the local grid, further enhancing both economic and environmental benefits.

Taking Concrete Steps Toward "Relative Net-Zero Emissions"

NOVAH has completed the first phase of its 1.8 MW distributed photovoltaic power system. The system is expected to generate approximately 1.9 million kWh of green electricity annually, which will be directly used in our production and operations. This initiative will reduce carbon emissions by about 600 tons of standard coal equivalent per year—delivering environmental benefits equivalent to planting more than 30,000 trees. Through these tangible actions, NOVAH is steadily advancing toward its goal of achieving "relative net-zero emissions" in its manufacturing processes.

Deepening ESG Integration and Upholding Long-Term Responsibility

From deploying green energy to designing products with full lifecycle sustainability in mind, and from supply chain collaboration to active participation in global initiatives, NOVAH is deeply embedding ESG principles into the core of its corporate strategy. We are building a comprehensive sustainability framework that spans operations, products, and the entire value chain.

Beyond our own green transformation, we are committed to driving collective progress with upstream and downstream partners, fulfilling our long-term responsibilities to both the environment and society through concrete actions.

Looking ahead, NOVAH will continue to advance its green manufacturing practices, implement more innovative projects, and work hand-in-hand with stakeholders to build a future that is greener, more inclusive, and truly sustainable.
