NOVAH Joins the UNGC, Advancing Sustainable Development in Action

NOVAH has officially joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), committing to uphold its Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. This milestone marks a significant step in integrating sustainable development into our core corporate strategy, enabling us to contribute more systematically and transparently to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest and most inclusive corporate sustainability initiative, dedicated to advancing responsible business practices within day-to-day operations and global supply chains. As a participating member, NOVAH will regularly submit progress reports, publicly disclosing our actions and achievements in areas such as environmental stewardship, employee well-being, and corporate governance. Through this commitment, we welcome external oversight and strengthen the traceability and accountability of our sustainability efforts.

For NOVAH, sustainability is
not an added marketing label,
but the fundamental logic embedded in our products and organizational operations.

NOVAH has always regarded sustainability as a core corporate responsibility. We fulfill our green commitments through concrete innovation, advancing environmentally friendly manufacturing and operations.

In green energy application, we completed the construction of our first-phase 1.8 MW distributed photovoltaic power generation system in 2024. This system is expected to produce approximately 1.9 million kWh of green electricity annually, powering our production and operations. This equates to reducing carbon emissions equivalent to about 600 tons of standard coal, bringing us closer step by step to "relative zero emissions" in our production processes.

In product design and material selection, we implement a "Green Products + Modular Design" strategy. We widely adopt ultra-low standby power consumption technologies, adhesive-free manufacturing processes, and lightweight structures. Our entire range of seating products, along with star products such as the Nobius soundproof phone booth and Bloom series, have all received GreenGuard Gold certification, ensuring that our products meet high standards for health and environmental protection throughout their entire lifecycle.

Meanwhile, we continuously optimize our supply chain collaboration mechanisms, promoting a green procurement model centered on "source reduction and process transparency." We actively onboard environmentally conscious suppliers such as Linak, deepening ESG information sharing and low-carbon collaboration to jointly build a responsible and sustainable supply chain ecosystem.

Joining the United Nations Global Compact is not a symbolic gesture, but a formal endorsement of our company's long-term course of action. Going forward, we will continue to drive innovation, exploring the integrated application of eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient technologies, and human-centered design within office space solutions. Under the UNGC framework, we look forward to collaborating with customers, suppliers, employees, and other stakeholders to advance a business ecosystem that is fairer, lower-carbon, and more resilient.
