In September 2024, GEP established a branch office in Dalian, marking a significant step in its deepening presence in the Chinese market. This new office primarily focuses on enterprise management consulting, software sales, system integration, and outsourcing services, delivering end-to-end digital supply chain solutions to clients across the Asia-Pacific region.
To support the needs of this high-efficiency, fast-paced, and knowledge-intensive team, NOVAH has designed a modern office space centered around efficiency, supported by flexibility, and guided by human-centric experience. In this environment, space serves as a dynamic tool that responds to both organizational growth and employee needs.
In traditional office spaces, filing cabinets and personal belongings often occupy the area beneath desks, causing cluttered circulation paths and disrupting visual order. Dalian GEP chose to introduce the NOVAH Morph Storage System to redistribute and optimize office storage resources.
Each employee is provided with a dedicated electronic-lock storage locker, allowing personal items and documents to be stored in a centralized manner. The centralized design reduces the distance required to access belongings. The placement of Morph lockers is carefully planned, typically located in core office areas or corridor nodes—ensuring convenience while minimizing disruption to workflow.
The previously occupied under-desk space is now freed up, resulting in a cleaner, more open environment. This solution simplifies administrative processes and provides greater flexibility for future space reconfiguration.
With the rise of hybrid work and remote collaboration, high-quality, private voice and video conferencing have become essential. While open-plan offices enhance communication efficiency, they also introduce challenges related to noise and acoustic privacy.
To address this, NOVAH has integrated multiple Nobius Phone Booths throughout the space, strategically placed in central office areas for quick and easy access from open work zones. The transparent design of Nobius not only creates visual separation but also maintains the openness and flow of the space.
Whether for cross-time-zone client calls, discussions on sensitive projects, temporary voice tasks, or moments requiring focused concentration, stepping into a Nobius booth provides instant isolation from external noise, offering a clear, quiet, and comfortable communication environment. This design effectively alleviates the acoustic pressures associated with open-plan offices.
As a company whose core operations revolve around strategic consulting and sales services, GEP relies heavily on daily information sharing, solution discussions, and client communication. To support these activities, the space is equipped with a large number of small to medium-sized collaboration and meeting rooms, designed to accommodate a variety of scenarios including casual collaboration, one-on-one coaching, team discussions, and presentation sessions.
