Project Overview

The Metso Shanghai office is located in Huoshan Road, Yangpu District, Shanghai, covering an area of 1,700 square meters and capable of accommodating 100 employees. This is currently Metso’s largest office in China.

On a white background, the office space is complemented with blue, green, yellow, orange, and other colors, making the entire space look vibrant. Notably, the configuration of the open leisure area allows for flexible switching between focus and collaboration.

The new Metso Shanghai office has undergone meticulous planning. In terms of color, there is a balance between warm and cool hues, making the entire space vibrant with energy.

The Long Bench workstation has strong adaptability. The Cluster workstation can achieve rich and practical combinations, with its recessed central support structure allowing for maximum space utilization. Additionally, through optimized wiring and strengthened management, it provides an effective office space solution.

The core value of the Melo seat is to maintain a balance between comfort and efficiency in office chairs. It is more suitable for frequent switching between desktop computers and handheld devices, improving personnel’s focus on using various digital office equipment.

The elegant Four sure®105 bar stool, combined with the bar, creates a comfortable and harmonious communication and dining scene, embodying the ideals of modern design and humanization. The bright color scheme also injects vitality into the space.

The flexible sharing work mode puts forward higher requirements for the storage system. Morph Locker provides a new storage solution for shared spaces, working in conjunction with other furniture to create an open and interconnected office ecosystem.

Collaboration 

Team collaboration is the foundation of success. The open office environment created by Metso allows every employee to collaborate efficiently anytime, anywhere, unleashing the power of teamwork.

Employees need to collaborate in a convenient and fast manner on a small scale. Next to the workstations, we have arranged single-seat sofas and small meeting tables for employees to discuss work matters at any time. Within the same space, the mode of collaboration and independent work can be switched at any time.

Nobius silent room has established a ‘sound barrier’ in open space, supporting employees to quickly switch between collaborative and focused behaviors.

Meetings and training are forms of larger-scale collaboration. The Molo training table provides a complete and flexible usage system, allowing office spaces to have multiple possibilities.
